Apply to receive training funds
The Consortium is competitively awarding one subgrant to support consortium-launched employment and training programming. For training providers building capacity for District residents.

- Feb 1 Training must begin no later than February 1, 2027

Who can apply
Eligibility
Eligible applicants must be one of the following:
- A Consortium member organization, or
- A training provider partnered with The Department of Employment Services on the Eligible Training Provider List, aligned to DOES-approved capacity training pathways.
Applications must meet every threshold requirement in the NOFO to be considered, including alignment to an industry-recognized credential, enrollment of 25 WIOA-eligible District residents in Non-ITA WIOA programming, and at least one employer commitment letter.

Submission materials are emailed to Consortium@buildwithin.com by the deadline on October 31, 2026 by 5:00 PM ET.
The budget period runs September 1, 2026 through February 20, 2027, and cannot extend past the Consortium's own period of performance, which ends May 21, 2027.
